Our History

From our humble beginnings to a large company with many regional locations, our growth is a remarkable story.

The Early Years

E. Richard Van Hook founded Van Hook Service Co., Inc. in 1973. Prior to starting Van Hook Service Co. Inc. he was employed by one of the largest HVAC&R manufacturers as lead services engineer and was responsible for all of Western New York.

Present Day

In 1984, control was passed to Edward Van Hook, the current president and owner.

Starting out as a centrifugal and absorption chiller service company, we have since expanded. We now service all types and brands of mechanical equipment including most DDC controls.

Van Hook Service Co., Inc. now has over thirty-five service technicians, each with their company-owned, fully equipped service vehicle. We respond to our customers' needs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
